Blake debuts as director in ``Disguise''

HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Art director and production designer Perry Andelin Blake will make his feature film directorial debut with Revolution Studio's ``Master of Disguise,'' starring ``Saturday Night Live (news - Y! TV)'' alum Dana Carvey.

With a screenplay penned by Carvey and comic writer Harris Goldberg (''Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo''), the film is slated to start shooting Sept. 24. Another former ``SNL'' trouper, Adam Sandler, will share executive producer credits.

The picture centers on the last remaining survivor of a family whose members were masters of disguise.

Before working in the industry, Blake received a Masters of Architecture from Harvard University and moved to Los Angeles to work with noted-architect Frank Gehry. After that, he worked as an art director on commercials and TV shows before moving into feature film.

Blake has crafted the look of several Sandler films, including ``Happy Gilmore,'' ``Billy Madison,'' ``The Wedding Singer,'' ``The Waterboy,'' ``Big Daddy'' and ''Little Nicky.''

Aside from Sandler, Blake has found a fan in heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, who appeared in ``Little Nicky.'' Impressed by Blake's work on the film, he commissioned him to design the stage for his Ozzfest music tour.
