> MOVIES > HAPPY MADISON
Happy Madison
is the production company started by Adam Sandler. The first production released
by Happy Madison was the "What the Hell Happened to Me?" HBO special
that showcased Sandler on tour in 1996 supporting his album of the same name.
It was "the first rock-n-roll / comedy tour," as said by Ben Stiller
(from There's Something About Mary). The
first movie released by Happy Madison Studios is Deuce Bigalow, Male Gigolo,
starring Rob Schneider (middle), a fellow castmate from Saturday Night
Live. It is about a fish tank cleaner who has to become a "man-whore"
in order to get enough money to pay back the angry gigolo whose house he wrecked.

It was released in America on December 11, 1999. The next movie to be released
by Happy Madison will be Joe Dirt, starring David Spade (left). Spade
will play a child who was abandoned and later tells his story on a radio show.
The movie will not be released until late 2000 (or later).
