Comedian
Adam Sandler's ``Big Daddy'' opened as the number one movie in the country
last weekend marking the highest grossing debut of Sandler's career
at over $41 million.
In
the midst of his red hot movie career, Sandler is preparing to release
his fourth comedy recording for Warner Bros. Records entitled ``Stan
and Judy's Kid.'' This recording features 11 new skits and 6 new songs
by Sandler. Available for the first time ever will be ``The Chanukah
Song Pt. 2,'' the hysterical follow up to Sandler's original holiday
classic.
Also
included in this recording is ``She Comes Home to Me,'' a new song which
features a crooning Sandler backed by the legendary big band of Frank
Sinatra. The track was recorded live in Capitol Studio A, the birthplace
of many of Sinatra's classic recordings.
This
recording also marks Sandler's return to sketch comedy featuring 11
brand new skits including ``The Champion,'' about the world's greatest
golfer, ``Whitey,'' the story of Whitey Duvall, a modern day hunchback
of Notre Dame, and ``The Psychotic Legend Of Uncle Donnie,'' the retelling
of a very dysfunctional family's waterskiing adventure.
``Stan
and Judy's Kid'' was written by Adam Sandler and friends and was produced
by Sandler, Brooks Arthur and Allen Covert. It will be released by Warner
Bros. Records on September 21st.
